The Teacher – Native American Program serves as a vital bridge between the Student Success department and Native American students, dedicated to enhancing cultural knowledge, academic achievement, attendance, and educational planning. This role exists to foster a supportive environment where students can build self-esteem and cultural pride through targeted enrichment and leadership opportunities.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with teachers and administrators to coordinate a cohesive and rigorous educational program. Your day-to-day involves monitoring student progress, identifying at-risk students for mentoring and tutoring, and organizing external services to meet Title VII Program Goals. You will act as a key communicator, engaging with parents during scheduled meetings to discuss academic progress and clarify program objectives, ensuring a unified approach to student success.
