As an Educational Teacher within the Education Programs and Community Reentry Division, you will have the opportunity to inspire change and shape the future of adults who have not yet achieved mandatory literacy or full academic achievement. You will join a team of educational professionals making a difference by designing engaging lessons and delivering total instructional programs in various academic subjects.
In this role, you will create a supportive, structured classroom where learning leads to opportunity. You will collaborate with fellow educators, including Special Education teachers, to ensure students receive the necessary support. Your work will transform lives, allowing you to watch your students grow, succeed, and positively impact communities across Arizona.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and possess a current, valid Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Teaching Certificate in Elementary or Secondary education. Employment is contingent upon passing a background investigation, a drug test, and a medical/physical examination. All newly hired State employees must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).
