About the Role

The Dysart Unified School District seeks a dedicated Elementary Teacher to create a flexible, engaging program that fosters both academic growth and personal development. In this role, you will establish a classroom environment where every student can thrive, building effective rapport to motivate them in developing the skills, attitudes, and knowledge necessary for a strong educational foundation. Your work will be tailored to meet the unique abilities of each pupil while maintaining high standards of ethical behavior and confidentiality.

As a member of the Academic Instruction family, you will serve as a vital link between the school, students, and families. You will translate district-approved curriculum into developmentally appropriate learning experiences, utilizing functional displays and interest centers to spark curiosity. Beyond the classroom, you will maintain open lines of communication with parents through newsletters, conferences, and regular updates, ensuring a collaborative approach to student success. You will also coordinate the efforts of teacher aides, parents, and volunteers to support a cohesive learning atmosphere.

Important Certification Requirement A Structured English Immersion (SEI) endorsement is required for employment by Dysart Unified School District. Additionally, candidates must obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
