The Middle School English & Reading Teacher serves as a vital Advisor, educator, and guide for students at the respective grade level. This role is designed for an educator with a positive enthusiasm for working with middle school students who have learning differences. You will be responsible for providing an effective learning environment that adheres to our specific classroom structure and management guidelines.
In this position, you will utilize effective multi-sensory teaching methodologies based on diagnostic testing, incorporating appropriate modifications and accommodations. Your day will involve planning lessons to implement our curriculum, maintaining accurate records, and communicating professionally with students, parents, and colleagues. As a student advocate, you will respond to inquiries within 24 hours, attend parent conferences, and support the school's mission by fostering a strong sense of community. You will also be expected to supervise students during various duties, including carpool, recess, and field trips, ensuring safe transitions and adherence to safety protocols.
