Key Responsibilities
- check_circleParticipate in daily and long-range lesson and classroom activity planning
- check_circleConduct learning exercises with small groups of children
- check_circleAlert the teacher to special needs of individual children
- check_circleProvide escort and assistance to children as necessary
- check_circleHelp maintain individual records for each child
- check_circleFoster good eating habits and table manners in children
- check_circleAssist teacher in maintaining neat work and study areas
- check_circleCollect and display suitable material for educational displays
- check_circleAttend staff meetings, conferences, and professional development workshops
- check_circleSupervise children during meal times and regular play periods
- check_circleGuide children in working and playing harmoniously with peers
Requirements

- verifiedSubstitute Teacher Certification or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred

Substitute Teacher Certification or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. Previous experience working as a teaching assistant.
