As a staff member, you'll sharpen your inherent leadership skills, learn new ones, and collaborate with interesting people, all while immersing yourself in creativity and play. We are looking for team members who are motivated babysitters, teachers, coaches, students, athletes, artists, and anyone ready to play hard and be goofy.

The Role

You will be the guide who empowers kids to make their own choices. Your day involves facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness in a dynamic environment. Some staff members will create and oversee activity spaces where campers self-select their adventures, while others will work in rotating support roles throughout the camp.

Activities are diverse and camper-driven, including sewing, stop-motion animation, maker spaces, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, and recreation. You will actively supervise campers, maintain organized activity spaces, and ensure compliance with camp policies. A key part of your day includes tracking camper allergies, recording notable concerns or incidents, and adding daily updates and photos to camper profiles.

Location & Schedule

This position is based at our San Diego location (4639 Felton Street). The camp runs from June 8, 2026, to August 14, 2026. Your schedule will include camp hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with actual shifts varying. Additionally, the role requires one weekend for setup, one weekend for breakdown, and an orientation date.
