This position serves as a Teacher for a Head Start classroom with a direct focus on children aged 3 to 4 years. You will work collaboratively with another teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom serving 17–20 children. Your role involves partnering with a team of teachers, a family advocate, and family members to implement a curriculum that achieves outcomes for children of all abilities.
You will utilize a working knowledge of child growth and development principles to work directly with children and collaborate with related service areas. The role requires implementing a child-centered curriculum and learning environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning, and self-motivation to promote development across all domains.
