As a Middle School Classroom Teacher at Glenwood Academy, you will work under the direct supervision of the Head of School to plan and deliver learning experiences that foster the overall development of each student. Your mission is to create a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that accelerates student learning while honoring the unique strengths, interests, and needs of every learner.
In this 9-month position, you will instruct and supervise students across a variety of learning settings, including individuals and small groups. You will collaborate with administration, colleagues, support staff, parents, and community members to ensure the best interests of students are met. The role involves designing specialized learning environments aligned with standards and evidence-based practices, particularly for students with language-based learning differences.
