About the Role
This position serves as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Diagnostic Imaging, performing radiographic examinations on patients ranging from newborns to geriatric individuals. The role is critical to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring high-quality and continuous patient care. Technologists in this role may also perform receptionist duties as needed to support departmental workflow.
Location and Housing Context
This opportunity is based in Bethel, AK. Please note that private housing is not provided; all housing consists of shared units, and pets are not permitted. Airfare is initially paid by the candidate or the agency and will be reimbursed upon arrival in Bethel.
Application and Onboarding Process
Candidates must submit all credentials for clearance by the YKHC recruiter before traveling. Travel is not permitted until all documentation is approved. To ensure scheduling for New Employee Orientation (held every Tuesday and Wednesday only), flight itineraries must be submitted at least one week in advance. Returning travelers are not picked up.
Required onboarding documentation includes:
- Personal details: Physical address, email, phone number, date of birth, and Social Security Number.
- Identification and Credentials: Copy of Photo ID, SSN card, professional license/certification, and education transcripts.
- Background and Health Checks: National and criminal background checks, 10-panel drug screen (within the last 90 days), OIG report, SAM report, National Sex Offender registry search, OHSA report, and OFAC report for all alias names.
- Immunizations: Proof of Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, T-Dap, and Polio vaccinations, or valid titers/historical records. Candidates unable to provide these will not be accepted.
- Additional Requirements: Fit test or physical, emergency contact information, and three professional references.
Candidates submitted by multiple agencies will be automatically rejected. Please direct all flight itinerary information to the designated recruiter contact.
