About the Role

The CT Technologist at Cape Cod Hospital serves as a vital resource for the department, blending technical expertise with compassionate patient care. This role is designed to ensure the effective daily operation of the CT Department while providing high-quality imaging services that support physician diagnoses. You will be responsible for performing computed tomography scanning procedures, requiring constant attention to technical detail and the independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiologic diagnoses.

In this position, you will operate control consoles, select proper imaging techniques, and manage various peripheral hardware. Beyond the technical aspects, you will assume care for the physical and psychological needs of patients, reducing anxieties and ensuring safety and comfort during examinations. You will also coordinate work to achieve maximum productivity, evaluate image quality, and maintain proficiency in the PACS system as a Super User.

Our Commitment to Care

Cape Cod Hospital is dedicated to providing service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, and co-workers. Our culture is built on the CARES framework: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence, and service. As a member of our team, you will uphold an ethical relationship with patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times while complying with infection control policies and safety standards.

Hiring Process

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, be a graduate of an AMA Accredited Radiography Program, and hold current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or NMTBC in CT. A valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control and current Basic Life Support Certification are required. Applicants should have 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, or 1 year at Cape Cod Hospital, or 1 year of current CT Tech experience within the last 5 years.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our organization. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
