This position serves as a Computed Tomography (CT) Scanning professional at the UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. Working within the MCR CT Scanning department, the role provides computed tomography imaging in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, as well as the organization's policies, values, and mission.
The position operates on a flexible, PRN schedule as an onsite role. The successful candidate will function with critical thinking skills and decisive judgment, often working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. The day-to-day involves reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling, and educating patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure understanding and cooperation. Responsibilities include preparing and administering contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient conditions, and performing imaging procedures. The role also requires troubleshooting equipment, resolving image quality issues, and utilizing 3-D post-processing capabilities to ensure high-quality diagnostic results.
