As a CT Technologist at UCHealth, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, performing various imaging and radiologic procedures. You will review patient history, initiate Computed Tomography images based on physician orders, and prioritize procedural patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Your role involves safely administering contrast media or associated imaging medications while closely monitoring patient conditions, responding to changes as appropriate, and implementing techniques to yield clarity in images and equipment functionality.
This position offers the opportunity to model proficiency by precepting those new to imaging or UCHealth, while welcoming new knowledge in an innovative setting. You will contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care, potentially performing 3-D post-processing while entering, transmitting, and reporting scan results.
