About the Role
We are seeking a strategic Tax Manager to lead and evolve our corporate tax function. This position offers a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution, designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex tax challenges. You will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Controllers, executive leadership, and external advisors to establish scalable tax processes that support ProAmpac's continued expansion.
In this role, you will balance technical tax expertise with business partnership and operational improvement. You will serve as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership, helping to shape tax strategy, develop policies for global cash repatriation, and build the future infrastructure of the tax organization.

- check_circleManage U.S. tax provision processes and coordinate with external Big 4 advisors
- check_circleOversee foreign tax provision activities in partnership with global finance teams
- check_circleEnsure accurate accounting treatment of intercompany transactions and transfer pricing adjustments
- check_circleCoordinate federal and state tax compliance activities including data gathering and supporting schedules

- check_circleSupport tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- verified5–12 years of progressive tax experience
- verifiedStrong experience with ASC 740 tax provision and U.S. federal/state tax compliance
- verifiedExperience managing tax projects and partnering with external advisors
- verifiedAdvanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Nice to Have
CPA and/or Master's in Taxation. Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, and global tax structures. Experience supporting multi-entity or manufacturing organizations.
