Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare simple tax returns and extensions using tax software applications
- check_circleAssist with responses to Internal Revenue Service notices
- check_circleDevelop and recommend methods to maximize client tax benefits
- check_circlePerform quarterly tax estimates and assist with year-end filing projections
- check_circleOrganize workpapers and files to ensure compliance and minimize rework
- check_circleApply Firm policies and standards to ASC 740 tax accruals and income tax provisions
- check_circleMonitor tax law changes and client developments to advise service teams
Requirements
- verifiedEnrolled in a Bachelors or Masters program in Accounting or other relevant field
- verifiedActively pursuing school credits to become a CPA
- verifiedProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
