About the Role
As a Tax Expert – Retail On-Site, you will serve as the public face of TurboTax in your local community. This unique seasonal opportunity blends professional tax advisory with community engagement, allowing you to grow TurboTax's client base while empowering individuals to navigate their tax needs. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers from simple to complex tax situations, including personal and business income, deductions optimization, and future tax planning.
In this role, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location, leveraging our marketing support and state-of-the-art software to build a thriving business. You will engage with prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into loyal, multi-year clients. Whether interacting in-person or through video communication tools, your ability to connect on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress often associated with taxes. You will also lead local events and create accessible tax-related content to make the topic of taxes approachable for everyone.
This is a nonexempt, seasonal position requiring onsite presence in the United States. You will enjoy a flexible schedule (25–34 hours weekly) that includes afternoons, evenings, and weekends, with the ability to increase hours during peak seasons.
