This position serves as a critical link within the Intelligence Community (IC), supporting NSA missions in Signals Intelligence, Information Assurance, and Computer Network Operations. The role exists to synthesize raw data into actionable intelligence, ensuring government personnel have the timely, accurate information needed for decision-making.
In this capacity, you will research, analyze, and report intelligence using appropriate vehicles to meet specific IC requirements. Your day-to-day involves prioritizing and evaluating information gathered from passive and active collection, network analysis, and collateral sources such as IMINT, MASINT, HUMINT, and open sources. You will collaborate closely with collectors and analysts to refine reporting requirements and share target-related information with customers. Additionally, you will issue products that relay developments, trends, indications, warnings, and situational awareness regarding specific targets, including countermeasures and courses of action. A key part of the role involves developing databases and working aids to enhance target knowledge and improve collection execution, alongside performing pre-release quality control functions.
