About the Role
As the Talent Acquisition Director, you will lead an AI-enabled, data-driven strategy that accelerates our growth while strengthening First Horizon's culture and enhancing the experience for both our clients and associates. This role is pivotal in balancing the need for scalable, resilient recruiting operations today with the modernization of the function for tomorrow.
You will partner with senior leaders across Commercial, Retail, Wealth, Risk, Technology, Operations, and Corporate to anticipate workforce needs and translate growth plans into effective sourcing, pipelining, and hiring strategies. Your day-to-day will involve driving operational excellence by standardizing processes, optimizing our technology stack, and managing external partner relationships. Beyond execution, you will champion a learning culture, lead change management initiatives, and ensure that our hiring practices reflect our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will engage in a comprehensive interview process designed to assess strategic leadership, operational expertise, and cultural fit. The process typically includes:
- Initial screening with Talent Acquisition.
- Deep-dive discussions with senior leadership regarding strategy and team development.
- Presentation of a talent strategy or case study relevant to First Horizon's current growth plans.
- Final interviews with executive stakeholders to evaluate alignment with our mission and values.
