About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Engineer III to support our New River team at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS). This role is designed for a top-level contributor and specialist who will perform complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems. You will integrate electronic processes and methodologies to resolve total system problems, applying analytical and systematic approaches to workflow, organization, and planning challenges.
In this position, you will direct and assist system engineers in applying system engineering principles to secure systems design problems. The role requires in-person support and involves executing system administration, database support, and cybersecurity compliance within a multiuser environment. You will act as a key liaison with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to align system operations with cybersecurity objectives, ensuring robust security posture through rigorous patch management, vulnerability analysis, and compliance with DoD standards.
