Why choose between doing meaningful work and having a fulfilling life? At MITRE, you can have both. We are a not-for-profit corporation chartered to work for the public interest, with no commercial conflicts to influence what we do. Our R&D centers create lasting impact in fields as diverse as cybersecurity, healthcare, aviation, defense, and enterprise transformation. We are committed to tackling our nation's toughest challenges while ensuring the long-term well-being of our employees.
Our workplace reflects our values. We offer a culture of innovation that embraces adaptability, collaboration, technical excellence, and people in partnership. We are making a difference every day—working for a safer, healthier, and more secure nation and world.
The Multi-Int Exploitation Mission Enabler department effectively combines deep technical knowledge with critical domain knowledge to harness and shape capabilities to meet multiple sponsor mission needs. We possess the technical depth and breadth to thrive in mission-focused R&D/S&T organizations and the well-earned sponsor credibility to execute work programs relating to research, analysis, prototyping, and testing.
In this role, you will apply sensors, AI/ML systems, and data engineering for the exploitation of multiple data types, including remote sensing data. This encompasses infrared imagery (OPIR), hyperspectral imagery (HSI), radar (SAR/GMTI), full motion video (FMV), Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI), and 3D data from a range of sources. You will provide independent, unbiased technical support across multiple short- and long-term engineering efforts supporting NGA's partnership with the United Kingdom, with potential limited support to other international partners. Your work will involve evaluating U.S. and partner solutions, identifying changes that impact partner ways of working, and synthesizing complex technical issues to present clear findings to system owners.
