About the Team

Cardinal Health's Information Technology function anticipates, plans, and delivers strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Within this framework, Information Security and Risk is dedicated to protecting the organization's technology assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction. This team develops system back-up and disaster recovery plans, conducts incident response, manages threats, performs vulnerability scanning, and completes comprehensive risk assessments to safeguard the enterprise.

About the Role

The Principal, Security Architecture serves as a technical leader responsible for establishing, leading, and developing the security architecture strategy, standards, and design practices. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Security & Risk, this role aligns security architecture with business priorities, risk management objectives, and enterprise strategies. The position plays a critical role in embedding security into the development lifecycle, guiding technology investments, and ensuring that security requirements are integrated into enterprise architectures from inception through deployment. You will act as a key advisor to leadership on security priorities, risks, and investment decisions while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation within the team.
