About the Mission

We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to provide contracts support to a fast-paced acquisition program office in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be part of an integrated government team where you will support U.S. Army acquisition programs, assisting with determining contracting strategy, preparing contracting documents, and coordinating contract activities.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage systems engineering activities including requirements and functional analyses
- check_circleFormulate and issue systems engineering documents, processes, procedures, and milestones
- check_circleTranslate military operational requirements into practical system concepts and performance specifications
- check_circlePerform top-level design, development, integration, testing, installation, and troubleshooting
- check_circleDevelop and maintain technical documentation such as specifications, engineering drawings, and interface requirements
- check_circleEvaluate design efforts to ensure integration of all engineering disciplines and adequacy of analyses
- check_circleReview test plans, procedures, and reports for technical adequacy on assigned programs
- check_circleInitiate engineering change proposals and waivers and conduct physical and functional configuration audits
- check_circleParticipate in post awards, program reviews, design reviews, and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Requirements
- verifiedU.S. Citizenship
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Engineering
- verified12 years of relevant experience in DOD systems
- verified5 years supporting U.S. military aviation systems
- verifiedDoD Secret clearance
- verifiedDAWIA Level II SPRDE certification preferred
Nice to Have
Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level II SPRDE certification.
