As a Systems Engineer III supporting Simulation Integration, you will play a key role in the planning, development, integration, operation, and evaluation of autonomous systems simulation environments. This position exists to bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and strategic acquisition planning. You will work closely with government partners, industry experts, and cross-functional teams to assess technology maturity and develop robust integration strategies.
In this role, you will execute simulations to evaluate system effectiveness under relevant operational conditions, coordinate with user communities and external autonomy experts, and define verification strategies. Your work will directly influence the development of systems that ensure national security, requiring you to translate complex technical data into clear recommendations for leadership. 3+ years of experience in flight test as a discipline engineer or test conductor; prior experience supporting Air Force programs, particularly in Fighter, unmanned systems, or advanced mission systems; experience using Next Generation Threat System (NGTS) or Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) simulator software; knowledge of digital engineering tools, modeling & simulation, and architecture frameworks (e.g., DoDAF, UAF, MBSE).
