This position serves as a critical pillar for our enterprise infrastructure, responsible for the end-to-end management of 50+ servers within a complex Active Directory environment. The role exists to ensure 100% uptime and seamless operational continuity for our critical systems, including web services, mail services, and ASP solutions.
In this team-oriented capacity, you will act as the primary point of contact for system health, bridging the gap between technical execution and strategic planning. Your day-to-day involves not only maintaining system flowcharts and hardware inventories but also collaborating with IT departments to coordinate software releases and negotiating with vendors to secure necessary services. You will be instrumental in designing disaster recovery plans and implementing robust security measures to protect our infrastructure from intrusions.
Beyond technical administration, this role requires strong communication skills to provide technical training to other department staff, establish service level agreements with end users, and actively participate in division meetings to align system capabilities with organizational growth.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a review of their professional background and technical competencies. Please note that a valid driver's license is required, subject to a motor vehicle record review.
This institution is an equal opportunity employer and provider. We actively encourage applications from Navajo Veterans and adhere to Navajo Preference policies in our hiring practices.
