About the Role
Exeter Government Services is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) for SOUTCOM. This position is part of a newly awarded 6.5-year contract focused on critical server management. The role exists to ensure the optimum performance of complex operational environments by creating databases, managing configuration controls, and maintaining robust network access.
In this capacity, you will serve as a key problem solver, capable of taking a project from cradle to grave using engineering implementation plans. The day-to-day involves supervising technical staff, coordinating project schedules, and responding effectively to emergency situations. You will be expected to expand your IT skills to include Linux, networking, or mission-related applications as needed, ensuring the team remains agile and capable of supporting real-world or contingency operations.

Nice to Have
MCSE certification. Extensive troubleshooting and problem resolution experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills. Active Directory, GPO, and account maintenance experience. Ability to use an engineering implementation plan to complete projects from start to finish. Willingness to expand IT skills to include Linux, networking, or mission-related applications.
