About the Role

The System Engineer is a hands-on, operational role within the Customer Operations organization, dedicated to supporting the day-to-day reliability, availability, and performance of our automated warehouse systems in a live production environment. This position is aligned closely with a Maintenance Engineer or Lead Automation Technician profile, focusing on troubleshooting, maintaining, and stabilizing complex electro-mechanical and automated systems to ensure safe, consistent system uptime.

Unlike commissioning-focused or controls-programming-heavy roles, this position is centered on system health, equipment reliability, and technical execution on site. You will act as a senior technical escalation point during system disruptions, partnering with on-site maintenance, operations, and technical teams to restore and stabilize system performance. The role involves providing technical guidance to maintenance technicians and operators while ensuring compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and electrical safety standards.

Our Environment

Work is performed in an active industrial environment characterized by high levels of automation. The role requires the ability to work at heights of up to 45 feet, within confined spaces, and exposure to varying temperatures and production conditions. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours, including off-shifts, to support system uptime and recovery, and must comply with all PPE, LOTO, fall protection, and electrical safety requirements.
