JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). Our mission is to develop and maintain realistic, integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
As a System Administrator III, you will serve as a critical pillar in our technical operations, ensuring the seamless deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments. This role is designed for a versatile professional who thrives in a dynamic government support setting, balancing hands-on hardware management with complex network administration.
In this position, you will manage the full lifecycle of organizational IT assets, from the physical installation of workstations and structured cabling to the decommissioning of equipment. You will be responsible for administering classified remote access networks, handling user account management, and maintaining strict access controls. Beyond technical execution, you will provide essential troubleshooting for audio-visual systems in meeting environments and coordinate with external entities to manage enterprise network infrastructure.
Success in this role requires more than technical proficiency; it demands strong communication skills to document standard operating procedures, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and provide escort duties for personnel accessing secure areas. You will work in an office environment where mental alertness and the ability to cross-functional fields are essential to meeting deadlines and supporting federal mission objectives.
This position is part of a federal government contract, and all candidates must be U.S. citizens. To proceed, you must be eligible for and able to maintain a government security clearance. Additionally, a valid state-issued driver's license is required.
Selected candidates will be expected to obtain and maintain DoD IAM Level II certification (CompTIA Security+) within 180 days of their hire date. The interview process will assess your technical background, your ability to work under deadlines, and your fit within our team's operational culture.
JT4, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Our culture values safety, quality, and environmental responsibility, and all employees are expected to understand and implement the operational plans and policies that govern our work.
