JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). Our mission is to develop and maintain realistic, integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
As a System Administrator III, you will serve as a critical technical resource within a high-stakes government support environment. This role exists to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure that powers our test ranges. You will operate with considerable independence, applying originality and ingenuity to solve complex problems while collaborating closely with team members to meet strict deadlines.
Your day-to-day involves managing the full lifecycle of organizational IT assets, from deploying end-user hardware and configuring server/network equipment to troubleshooting audio-visual systems in classified and unclassified meeting environments. You will be the point of contact for problem reporting, version updates, and support contracts, while also guiding staff on data management systems and configuration procedures. Beyond technical execution, you will maintain comprehensive documentation, coordinate with external entities for infrastructure management, and provide escort duties for personnel accessing secure areas. Success in this role requires strong verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical operations and organizational needs.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access. The selection process prioritizes candidates who can demonstrate a working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and best practices. Successful applicants are expected to obtain and maintain DoD IAM Level II certification (CompTIA Security+) within six months of their hire date.
JT4, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
