JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). Our mission is to develop and maintain realistic integrated test and training environments, preparing the nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
The System Administrator serves as a critical operator within the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Mission Control Rooms (MCRs) at the Ridley Mission Control Center (RMCC). In this real-time mission support environment, you will operate, maintain, and administer complex flight testing systems that enable engineers to monitor mission data at near real-time.
Your day-to-day involves managing a diverse infrastructure including Active Directory Domain Servers, Log Auditing Workstations, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) systems, and Network Attached Storage (NAS). You will ensure the stability of enterprise-level Cisco and Juniper switches, Dell PowerEdge servers, and diskless Dell Precision workstations. Beyond technical administration, you will handle media management, track inventory, and serve as the primary point of contact for problem reporting and system upgrades.
This role demands adaptability in a high-pressure, dynamic setting. You may be required to work long hours, including very early mornings or late evenings, to support continuous operations. Success in this position requires a team player who is eager to learn, share knowledge, and collaborate with other system administrators to meet strict security directives and customer needs.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess a valid, state-issued driver's license. A key requirement for this position is the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; maintaining this clearance is mandatory for job retention. While prior experience with Department of Defense protocols is required, new hires must obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification within the first six months of employment if not already possessed.
We are seeking individuals who demonstrate a successful adaptation to demanding environments and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience cross-utilizing in multiple areas of real-time operations and be ready to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
JT4, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a diverse workforce and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status. Tasking for this role is in support of a Federal Government Contract, which necessitates U.S. citizenship and adherence to specific security and licensing requirements.
