JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). As a System Administrator II, you will serve as a critical technical resource within our government contract support team. This role is designed to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, ranging from classified systems to general enterprise networks. You will be the point of contact for complex problem reporting, system upgrades, and hardware lifecycle management.
Your day-to-day involves deploying end-user client hardware, configuring information system services, and providing comprehensive support for audio-visual systems in both classified and unclassified meeting environments. You will manage the full lifecycle of user accounts, from initial login support to decommissioning, while maintaining strict adherence to cybersecurity best practices. Additionally, you will design functional web pages, manage directory structures, and assist staff in utilizing departmental data management systems. This position requires a blend of technical ingenuity and operational discipline, often performed with considerable latitude for independent contribution.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance up to Top Secret with Special Access. Within 180 days of hire, you must also obtain and maintain a DoD IAM Level II certification (CompTIA Security+).
The interview process will assess your technical proficiency in MS Windows server environments, CAD/CAM applications, and your understanding of cybersecurity concepts. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for coordinating with other organizations and documenting standard operating procedures.
