About the Role

As a Surgical Technologist, you will be an integral member of the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Team, dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care that reflects our mission, vision, and values. In this role, you will perform the scrub role during surgical procedures, coordinating closely with other Operating Room professionals to ensure seamless patient outcomes.

Your work is grounded in the Labor Management Partnership (LMP) principles, supporting a high-performance culture built on joint decision-making. You will provide essential support to the patient and the care team, promoting population-based care, continuity of care, and customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires a caring, courteous, and flexible attitude, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills within a collaborative team environment.

About the Team

You will join a dedicated group of health care professionals committed to excellence in surgical services. The team operates under a framework of professional conduct and continuous learning, fostering an environment where new concepts and skills are embraced. By participating in unit Quality Assurance Programs and staff meetings, you contribute to a culture of safety, efficiency, and mutual respect.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Surgical Technology and hold a valid Surgical Technologist Certificate. Basic Life Support certification is required at the time of hire. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of sterile core areas, operating room procedures, and equipment, along with the ability to exercise good judgment and discipline.
