The Surgical Technologist is a vital member of the operating room team, serving in the scrub role during surgical procedures. This position goes beyond technical execution; it requires coordinating activities with surgeons, nurses, and other OR professionals to ensure seamless patient care. You will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, anticipating the team's needs, and ensuring patient safety throughout the intra-operative period.
Your day involves preparing the surgical suite, managing sterile instruments, and assisting with patient positioning and transfers. You will participate in pre-operative briefings and time-outs, continuously reassessing the patient's status while adhering to strict aseptic techniques. From restocking supplies to facilitating room turnovers, your role ensures that every procedure runs efficiently and safely.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Surgical Technology and hold a valid Surgical Technologist Certificate and Basic Life Support certification at the time of hire. The role operates Monday through Friday with on-call requirements.

Two (2) to five (5) years of scrubbing experience in all surgical procedures in inpatient or ambulatory O.R. setting. Ability to rotate through sterile core area. Experience cleaning and reprocessing instruments, stocking supplies, and picking case carts.
Skills: Basic Life Support, Surgical Technologist Certificate, Surgical Technology, Aseptic Technique, Sterile Technique, Operating Room Procedures, X-Rays.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
