Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a multispecialty group within CommonSpirit Health. We are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care every day. Our providers work collaboratively across multispecialty practices to deliver coordinated, whole-person care to the communities we serve. We prioritize listening to our patients, helping them understand their health needs, and supporting them through their journey.
We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our collaborative surgical practice with a primary focus on breast cancer care. This role offers a balanced blend of clinic-based care and operating room participation, ideal for APPs who value continuity of care, collaboration, and a sustainable work-life balance.
You will work primarily with our Surgical Oncologist, with occasional collaboration with a General Surgeon. The position supports breast cancer patients through the entire continuum of care, from initial consultation through recovery. As an embedded member of a multispecialty surgical specialty care clinic, you will foster strong interdisciplinary collaboration in a physician-led environment that values APP autonomy and partnership.
This is an outpatient-based role with approximately 80% clinic time and 20% operating room participation. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no inpatient responsibilities and no call. You will perform initial patient consultations, manage follow-up visits, provide post-operative care, and offer patient education and emotional support. This opportunity allows you to develop deep expertise in breast surgical oncology while maintaining a strong work-life balance within a mission-driven culture focused on compassionate, longitudinal patient care.
