As a Surgery Scheduler, you will serve as the gateway to Arizona's dramatic high country while playing a critical role in the community. You will be the first point of contact for patients, coordinating benefits, procedure locations, and other aspects of care. Your day will involve scheduling surgical, cardiovascular, or obstetrical procedures, entering patient charges and orders, and compiling statistical reports for management. You will act as an office liaison for department staff, physicians, and patient families, ensuring a smooth workflow even under stressful situations.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is ready to help our patients on their healthcare journeys. This role requires working with minimal supervision, setting priorities, and maintaining highly confidential information. Prior scheduling and patient coordination experience is preferred.
Located at the gateway to Arizona's dramatic high country, Payson offers four-season recreation where the Ponderosa Pine Forest meets desert canyon country. The area features sparkling lakes and scenic mountains. Residents can ride horses in the morning, fly-fish in the afternoon, and once the first snow falls, strap on skis for cross-country skiing.
