About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Support Nurse (LPN) for our Bermuda Commons location. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist in providing resident care in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act. You will play a vital part in assuring the best possible patient care by collaborating with nursing personnel, including the charge nurse and Director of Nursing, on your assigned unit.

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of clinical and administrative responsibilities. You will assist with new admissions, including initial nursing assessments, and manage ongoing care tasks such as monitoring and measuring decubiti (pressure ulcers) and completing integument watch assessments. You will also coordinate with the healthcare team, including rehab aides, and assist with lab requests, reviewing results, and notifying attending physicians of patient changes or emergencies. As a key member of the team, you may be required to take call for staffing coverage, provide hall coverage, and assist with emergencies, including performing CPR when necessary.
