About the Role
As a Support Nurse (LPN) at Summerstone Health and Rehab Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and the Director of Nursing, you will assist nursing personnel on a specified unit, contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
Your day will involve providing resident care in strict accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, delegating duties to non-licensed personnel, and monitoring their performance. You will be instrumental in quality assurance efforts, including data collection, infection control, and the accurate completion of resident assessments and integument watch forms. From coordinating with the rehab team to managing lab requests and communicating with attending physicians regarding patient changes or emergencies, you will be a key link in the daily operations of the unit.
