Alamo Runners are the heart of our guest experience, supporting theater guests by focusing on food and beverage service. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of Alamo's hospitality and safety standards so our guests can enjoy a safe, clean, distraction-free, and enjoyable environment.
In this role, you will deliver food and beverage orders to the correct seats, ensuring accuracy with venue theater floor maps. You will act as a knowledgeable ambassador for the Alamo menu, including common allergens, and ensure safe alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption in compliance with local and state regulations. Your day involves anticipating guest needs, monitoring notifications for requests, and communicating efficiently with Production staff, Greeters, Managers, and guests to resolve issues before they escalate.
Beyond service, you will play a key role in maintaining the theater's atmosphere by handling theater, lobby, and restroom cleaning, as well as opening and closing duties. You will work collaboratively in a loud, sometimes dark, fast-paced environment, moving with caution to deliver service while limiting disruptions to the movie-going experience. This is a tip-shared role, with the Front of House (FOH) team sharing 80% of the total tips (with 20% going to the Back of House), ensuring a shared commitment to excellence across the venue.
