Restart is the single largest employment programme ever contracted out by the UK Government, representing the most critically monitored and evaluated employment initiative in the country's history. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, the Supply Chain Manager plays a pivotal role in the delivery of this high-stakes contract. The success of the programme hinges on the performance of our supply chain partners, making this role critical to meeting all contractual requirements.
You will be directly accountable for leading a network of partners responsible for delivering approximately 50% of the overall contract value (£20-25m per annum). Beyond revenue generation, you will ensure strict adherence to Customer Service Standards, exceed customer satisfaction measures, and deliver on vital social value commitments. Supported by internal resources and guided by the Supply Chain Director, you will manage the performance of all partners, their teams, and the 300-400 FTEs employed to deliver the service.
Your mission includes driving continuous improvement throughout the supply chain to ensure year-on-year performance gains and fostering effective collaboration both within the CPA and with external providers. You will work closely with the Restart Service Delivery Director to ensure Maximus and SCP delivery are complementary, upholding our commitment to creating a 'Restart Alliance'.
