Restart is the single largest employment programme ever contracted out by the UK Government, making it the most critically monitored and evaluated employment initiative in the country's history. As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of this high-stakes contract, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director.
You will be directly accountable for leading a network of supply chain partners responsible for delivering approximately 50% of the overall contract value (£20-25m per annum). Beyond revenue generation, your success will be measured by adherence to Customer Services Standards, exceeding customer satisfaction metrics, and delivering on social value commitments. Supported by internal resources and guided by the Supply Chain Director, you will manage the performance of all supply chain partners, their teams, and the 300-400 FTEs employed to deliver the service.
A key part of your mission is driving continuous improvement throughout the supply chain to ensure year-on-year performance gains. You will work closely with the Restart Service Delivery Director to ensure Maximus and SCP delivery are complementary, fostering a 'Restart Alliance' that prioritizes effective collaboration both within the CPA and with external providers.
