About the Team

Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), part of the Spirax Group, unites the Chromalox, Durex Industries, Vulcanic, and Thermocoax businesses to create advanced electrical process heating and temperature management solutions. From industrial heaters and systems to heat tracing and component technologies, ETS serves the world's most challenging industrial applications.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chromalox traces its roots back 100 years to an innovative solution invented by a self-taught engineer: the first metal-sheathed resistance heating element. This breakthrough launched an entire industry. Today, we excel in sectors with high expectations, recognized as experts for delivering solutions that exceed specifications, limit risk, and reduce operating costs.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and technically capable Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer to support our custom engineered-to-order manufacturing environment. This role serves the oil & gas, chemical, and industrial markets, ensuring that customer, contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements are clearly understood, aligned with manufacturing capabilities, and proactively managed throughout complex projects.

In this position, you will act as a bridge between customer expectations and production reality. You will review specifications to identify compliance risks before production begins, improve quality processes, and support inspection readiness. The role demands strong collaboration, structured communication, and the ability to lead quality initiatives and personnel in a fast-paced environment. You will help build a proactive quality culture focused on prevention rather than detection, ensuring that our commitment to excellence continues to serve our customers and the world.

Equal Opportunity

At Chromalox, we are champions of equal opportunities and inclusivity. We are dedicated to fostering a workplace that adheres to the highest hiring standards and is free from discrimination and harassment. Chromalox is an equal opportunity employer; our commitment extends to all aspects of employment, ensuring that no individual is mistreated or discriminated against based on race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, or any other protected characteristic as defined by federal, state, or local laws.
