About the Role

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will be the backbone of our facility's temperature control systems. In this fast-paced and welcoming environment, you will support and oversee repairs for Walmart's refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets. Your day-to-day involves utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills alongside hand tools, digital tools, and power equipment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

You will be the first point of contact for emergency maintenance calls, ensuring minimal disruption to store operations. Using our work order management system, you will receive repair requests, support store associates, and document all activities. Your role requires inspecting and testing facilities and equipment to identify problems, while strictly adhering to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. You will also be responsible for completing all required safety training to operate equipment and tools safely, often working at heights and lifting up to 75 pounds.
