About the Role
As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will be the backbone of our facility's temperature control systems. Your role is to support and oversee repairs within the Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, ensuring that our perishable goods remain safe and our stores operate without interruption.
In this position, you will utilize commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills alongside hand tools, digital tools, and power equipment to maintain and repair assets. You will be the first responder to emergency maintenance calls, diagnosing issues by inspecting and testing facilities and equipment. Your work involves receiving repair work orders through our management system, documenting activities, and ensuring strict compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
This is a hands-on role requiring you to lift up to 75 pounds, work on ladders, and operate safely at heights. You will be provided with a work vehicle and the necessary tools to complete your jobs effectively.
