Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and actively recruiting Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technicians. This role is designed for professionals ready to bring their skills to a fast-paced, welcoming environment where they can support and oversee repairs within the facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment team.
As a Senior Technician, you will be the backbone of our asset maintenance, utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration expertise alongside hand, digital, and power tools to keep our facilities running smoothly. Your day-to-day involves receiving repair work orders through our management system, providing prompt responses to emergency maintenance calls, and diagnosing issues by inspecting and testing equipment. You will ensure all work complies with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, maintaining a safe and productive environment for associates and customers alike.
Candidates with relevant experience in commercial refrigeration and HVAC maintenance are invited to apply. The selection process focuses on verifying technical expertise, including specific experience with large-scale rack refrigeration systems and valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling. A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record is also required to ensure candidates can meet the mobility needs of the role.
