About the Role

As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will be the backbone of our facility's refrigeration systems. Your role is to support and oversee repairs within the Refrigeration HVAC equipment team, ensuring our stores maintain the quality food and goods at everyday low prices our customers expect.

In this position, you will utilize commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills alongside hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to diagnose and fix issues. You will receive repair work orders via our management system, document your activities, and provide prompt responses to emergency maintenance calls. Your work ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, keeping our facilities safe and operational.

You will work in a dynamic environment that requires lifting up to 75 pounds, moving up and down ladders, and working comfortably at heights. Walmart provides the work vehicle and tools necessary to complete your jobs effectively.

Hiring Process

To join our team, you must possess relevant experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance and hold a valid Type I, Type II, or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling. Candidates must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
