Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores to support the critical infrastructure that keeps our supermarkets running. As the U.S.'s largest private employer, we aim to create a culture where every associate feels valued for who they are and is rooted in respect for the individual. Our vision is "everyone included," fostering a workplace where everyone is—and feels—included. Approximately 90% of the U.S. population lives within 10 miles of a Walmart or Sam's Club, and our associates reflect the makeup of all of America and the 18 other countries where we operate.
As a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will be the backbone of our facilities' refrigeration systems. In this fast-paced and welcoming environment, you will support and oversee repairs for Walmart's commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Your work ensures that our stores maintain the quality food and goods at everyday low prices our customers expect. You will utilize hand tools, digital tools, and power tools to diagnose issues, complete emergency maintenance calls, and document repair activities using our work order management system. This role is vital for maintaining the safety and efficiency of our facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, and supporting store associates in their daily operations.
To join our team, candidates must possess relevant experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance and hold the necessary certifications. The application process involves submitting your qualifications for review. Selected candidates will be evaluated based on their skills, experience, and fit for our dynamic team. For specific details on interview steps and timelines, please refer to the application portal or contact the recruiting team directly.
