This position provides essential support services for camp teachers and administrators during the summer session. You will serve as a vital link in our educational community, performing routine clerical and instructional assignments within established procedures. Your role requires handling sensitive information and interacting tactfully with parents, teachers, and staff both within and outside the school.
Each day will involve a dynamic mix of responsibilities tailored to the specific needs of the students or department you serve. You will assist teachers with camp duties, including providing small group instruction and skills practice. Your day may also include supervising students on and off the school bus, overseeing lunch periods, and preparing classroom materials. Beyond direct student support, you will provide clerical assistance such as typing, filing, maintaining records, and ordering supplies. This role demands a blend of judgment, adaptability, and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
