About the Role

This position is designed for those who find excitement in guiding kids while they make decisions for themselves. You will be the calm presence that helps others stay grounded under pressure, comfortable leading groups of children independently while still collaborating as part of a team. The role demands the stamina to keep up with 4-12 year olds bursting with energy and creative potential, whether that means running games or lifting up to 40 pounds.

You will work in a schooled-aged camp setting to provide supervision, care, and program delivery. Your day will involve facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. Some staff members will create and oversee activity spaces where campers self-select activities, while others will work in rotating support roles throughout the camp. Activities range from sewing and stop-motion animation to maker spaces, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, and recreation.

Camp Details

Location: 301 Austin Bluffs Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80918

Camp Dates: May 26, 2026 (Tuesday) – August 7, 2026 (Friday). This schedule includes one weekend for setup, one weekend for breakdown, and an orientation date.

Hours: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (actual shifts will vary).
