About the Role
As a Substitute Nurse within Olathe Public Schools, you will serve as a vital link in student health care, providing essential coverage on an as-needed basis. You will also maintain individual student health records with strict adherence to documentation standards, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations.
Beyond clinical duties, you will support the district's educational mission by fostering a trusting personal climate and collaborating with staff to align health strategies with instructional objectives. The role demands flexibility and adaptability as you navigate a fast-paced, stressful environment, often working independently with minimal supervision to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
