A growing national firm is expanding its Cleveland team and seeking a talented Engineering Manager – Substation Design to lead high-voltage infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal in driving the design of substations ranging from 15kV to 500 kV, ensuring that all engineering outputs meet rigorous client standards and applicable design codes.
As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee the entire design lifecycle, managing drawing development workflows and CAD-based operations to align with project goals, quality benchmarks, and team performance. Beyond technical oversight, you will serve as a mentor to junior staff, fostering team growth and facilitating knowledge transfer. A key part of your mission involves building and maintaining client relationships to secure long-term partnerships while managing tasks across multiple departments to optimize execution within scope, schedule, and budget targets.
