About the Team
Ardurra is seeking a Transportation Designer to join our growing family in Phoenix, AZ. As part of the Arizona team, you will be embedded within our Transportation Engineering practices, working directly under a Professional Engineer to support company growth and deliver a wide variety of exciting transportation projects throughout the region.
About the Role
This position is based in the Phoenix office, though hybrid work options may be considered for the right candidate. You will play a key role in developing technical design elements, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for municipal transportation projects. Your work will encompass geometric design, alignment, intersection layouts, sight distance determination, roadway drainage, and right-of-way plans. Additionally, you will produce construction documents including typical roadway sections, plan and profile drawings, and detail sheets while providing technical support to team members on erosion control, utility, and traffic signal plans.
