About the Role

We are recruiting for a full-time Substance Use Disorder Professional III within our Behavioral Health Department in Monroe, WA. This role is designed for a senior-level counselor who acts as the primary agent for providing direct services to patients in one-to-one or group formats.

In this position, you will perform assessments, evaluations, and intakes for adults, youth, and their families. Your clients will primarily have a diagnosis of chemical dependency, often accompanied by emerging mental health issues. The role operates on a client-centered model with an emphasis on integrated care. You will be expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency, believing that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addictions.

As a senior professional, you will serve as the primary case manager for a caseload of up to 12 clients in the intensive outpatient phase and up to 30 in aftercare. You will design, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on ASAM criteria, while coordinating with staff and other agencies to ensure a seamless continuum of care. Additionally, if assigned a SUDP Trainee, you will provide direct supervision, tutoring, and documentation review.
